Our CR6000 Series LED Lanterns offer 3-6 miles visibility. They are either externally powered standalone, or self-contained solar powered LED lanterns that are a low maintenance, complete bolt-on light package designed for the extreme conditions encountered by marine aids to navigation on buoys and fixed structures. They incorporate the LED light head and electronics with Daylight Control Sensor, battery and solar panels (CR6200/CR6300). They are designed and environmentally tested to the requirements of U.S. Coast Guard Specification 506. They can report status data and can be programmed by means of an IR Remote Control. Options available are GPS synchronization capability and AIS monitoring.
The patented side emitter lens provides superior uniformity in the horizontal plane (no molding seams) as well as a wide 7.5° symmetrical vertical divergence to 50% of peak intensity (FWHM) with excellent symmetry. The LED drive system provides high efficiency Pulse Width Modulated (PWM) converted to constant current. In addition, the large heat sink design allows the LED to run more temperately thus extending its life.

Membrane Vent
Light Head: Cast acrylic lens and protective light head. Acrylic is superior to UV protected polycarbonate for UV exposure, and is more scratch resistant.
Lantern Housing: Hard coat anodized aluminum extrusion. Ice does not form on hard coat anodized aluminum

Membrane Vent equalizes pressure in the light in response to environmental changes which reduces stress on the enclosure seals and prevents ingress of water, dirt and other contaminants. It reduces condensation build up by equalizing pressure inside the light.
Solar panels are clear polymer coated
